The limit will be 8 racers so sign up's are required. Just message me to let me know and I'll put your name down at the bottom of this page. Please make sure you show up if you commit.
Each position will earn points. 15, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5 based on placement. Then the total will determine the winners. We will start with 1 single practice race, then do the 3 tracks. We will then wrap it up with one final race as a random of the 3 for a total of 4 races.
Chocobo attributes will be synced to the lowest rated chocobo so there is no worry about someone having an overpowered chocobo. But it is still a good idea to rank them up and train them for future events.
To Unlock Chocobo Racing
Players must first complete one of the following main scenario quests: "The Gridanian Envoy," "The Ul'dahn Envoy," or "The Lominsan Envoy." (This is a level 15 main story quest that you will eventually complete. This means everyone can take little time unlocking this, even trial accounts. If your main story quest is not lvl 15 yet, you just have to keep going.)
2. Then go to Ul'dah to accept the quest "It Could Happen" right outside of the main crystal. If you don't see the quest, you haven't done the envoy quest.
3. Once inside the Golden Saucer, you can find the lift to the chocobo racing NPC's within the circled area pictured here.
Complete the tutorial and all quests until it lets you sign up for a real race. It might be worth practicing up via racing.
